Grilling Crab Cakes
Who doesn’t love a crab cake burger? Plan your menu by ordering Box Hill crab cakes in advance, and they will arrive right on your doorstep to cook at home. We sell our cakes in bundles of 4, 6, 12, and 24 to cater to parties of all sizes. Once your crab cakes arrive, all you have to do is thaw them completely, then cook them in your oven at 425 degrees or on the grill over medium-high heat. When cooking in the oven, add a splash of water or a small amount of butter on the pan to prevent sticking, then cook for about 20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and firm to the touch. When cooking on the grill, cook the cakes for about 10 minutes, turning them over once.
Once they’re cooked, serve them on their own or in a bun as a crab cake burger! Top with your choice of lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, mayo, Old Bay, and more. As for sides, crab cakes always go well with some french fries or a side salad.
